Swachhata Hi Seva 2024

On 15th August 2014, speaking from the ramparts of the Red Fort, Hon'ble Prime Minister gave a clarion call for Swachhata to become a national priority and to achieve it through jan bhagidaari. Subsequently, the Swachh Bharat Mission was launched on 2nd October 2014 under a 'Whole of Government' approach, making sanitation 'everyone's business'. Thereafter, the whole world saw, as the nation came together and created what is known as the world's largest jan andolan for swachhata.
